I use Zone Alarm firewall, and Avira Antivir guard.
In combination they work very well.

AVG antivirus will very soon no longer be free. I use Avast in two computers for over nine years an I never had one virus. I use their free home for personal use. Their corporate version is the same they just make corporate pay.

They will ask you for your email address so they can send you your free key that is good for one year. After one year you must ask for a new key. You will get automatic updates daily two or three times per day. Plus the have a state of the art background scanner that really works in real time to stop any virus and destroy before the virus can enter your system.

I have used AVG and it seems to work pretty well, it's free for individuals but businesses should pay for it
