I think the spelling is slightly feminine, but not the name. There are many famous male Mackenzie's... Mackenzie Astin, Mackenzie Gray, Mackenzie Crook... All men... Plus, the nickname Mac is VERY masculine (IMO).

Though the name is for both genders, I think it sounds feminine. You could name him Mac instead as a shortened, but more masculine version.
