I suspect someone stole it or I dropped it somewhere. But logically that's impossible. But it's an easy way to give up. Should I continue searching? It's like a piece of paper, but it's an IMPORTANT piece of paper.

If it's money, don't bother looking for it anymore. But if it's something else, and it's that important, don't give up!

Maybe you put it somewhere unusual for some reason, like u didn't want anyone else to find it or u were in a rush. So look in places were you'd put it if yo didn't want anyone else to find it like in hte basement or a box that you hardly use.

Mentally retrace your steps or actions and places you were when you know for sure you had the object. Best wishes.

Retrace your steps. If you don't find it, stop looking. I usually find whatever I'm looking for once I stop looking for it.

If you are Catholic, look up "St. Anthony" the patron saint of lost articles.
