Okay this might be a bit silly, but I'm just curious. I'm 12 weeks with number two (yay!) and with my first, I experienced morning sickness, but it wasn't extreme and it wasn't very common. This time, I'm sick all day everyday. Not so much vomiting, but nasous as all get out. SO, I know it can last through out your pregnancy, but it usually ends around 12-14 weeks. Does it suddenly stop? Do you just wake up one morning and feel good? I'm so hoping that is how it happens- lol I'd just like to hear some of your experiences..Thanks so much :)
Sick and tired of being sick and tired! lol It's so worth it though!

Okay, Christina, Not trying to be rude- but shut the hell up. You have NO experience in this, so why comment? As I clearly stated in my question ( had you read it completely....) that I UNDERSTAND that it can last the entire time. I was asking for experiences. Again- as you have none, why bother to answer?
Yes, I'm a bit hormonal.

This is the exact thing that I fear. With my first pregnancy I felt great the entire time. Now I'm working on my second and I fear that I will have to experience the whole morning sickness stuff.
I have heard from many women though that once you get through the 1st trimester you should start feeling better. So start looking forward to week 13 or 14. Hopefully you will start feeling better. Good Luck.

Hey there! I am 30 weeks with my first, a boy....and no morning sickness at all! As a matter of fact, I was famished during my 1st trimester! But...they say folic acid really helps with morning sickness, and I took a prenatal supplement 1 year before conceiving...who knows...maybe folic acid...maybe it's the boy!

With my morning sickness I was very dizzy with a sore stomach!! I got constant headaches and pain in my abdomen but yah it faded within the first couple months!! Side effects go away gradually day by day, one day you still might feel ill but not as ill and then the next healthy as before! It just needs to take its course and run through your body, after that POOF!! You will be happy...People experience morning sickness different though and we should all remember...some are sick throughout like my mother in-law! :( But I dont think thats the case for you! Congrats and feel better soon!!

Congrats on your second! As you probably already know, it will eventually stop (it has to when the baby arrives). A friend of mine experienced morning sickness until she was in her final weeks of pregnancy. There is hope, though. If this is a problem for you, you can go to your doctor and they can prescribe something for you to get rid of the nauseousness. My wife did and so did my cousin. They didn't take it everyday, only when they felt they needed to.
Hope it goes away on it's own and congrats again. Isn't parenting fun?!?!?!?

Hey, I'm 16 weeks with my first, and from about the 6th week to the 11th week I experienced very similar symptoms to yours. I was tired, and nauseous all day long, however for me the symptoms slowly started to go away and I felt better each day. I now have the energy to do things, and am actually hungry now more often than not. I hope things get better for you, good luck!

With my first it shut off suddenly at 14 weeks. I felt better. With my son (which I am 29 weeks along with) I had it but not extreme. Unfortunatly after I started feeling better, I developed low blood sugar, which made me feel yucky again. I'm sure I would have felt better if I hadn't gotten that. Good luck. Hang in there!!

I never got morning sickness, but I've heard thousands of stories. Some say that they last all 40 weeks, some say they disappear on the 2ND trimester. Some also say the disappear only to reappear on the last month.
