btw,, the only reason OJ got away with it was that the cops were corrupt. Had they been honest, he would be in jail now.

No, race relations were already a mess.....the OJ trial just showed how everyone in America felt.....

I wish it were that simple!!!! But I'm pretty sure slavery is what ruined race relations in this country and I personally think the only way this will ever be a non-issue is when the majority of people are mixed.
I think it is very unfortunate that Johnny Cochran and the media turned this into a race issue. To me it was a domestic violence issue that turned into if you have enough money and/or fame you can get away with anything.

Where have you been? Race relations were an issue in America several centuries before that O. J. something or other came along.

No, it was going on long before the OJ trial.

o.j's trial had nothing to do with race relations because thier were none. most whites wanted to see o.j go to prison. and most blacks did'nt. same as today. race problems was a mess way before then.what do you mean?

No not at all. It's just another example of a chain of events that go back 200 years or more.

We need to trust our justice system if a person is found not guilty then he is not guilty.

I'm pretty sure slavery had a lot to do with it.

Maybe southern slavery had something to do with it too.
