Yes ovulation can cause cramps, sometimes it can also be associated with ovarian cysts so you need to get it checked for sure, every woman on the planet gets little cysts on their ovaries so it isn't anything to worry about, but sometimes these pains can be caused when a cyst bursts, it can be in conjunction with ovulation. Not a lot can be done for these cysts unless it gets extremely painful,but you do need to get checked out, if nothing else but to make sue its nothing more serious.

YES....I had pains in my left side all the time when I ovulated. This is the process where the egg is being passed through the fallopian tubes. My pain was much more severe because I have had my tubes tied. I take birth control now, and no ovulation occurs so I have no pain anymore.

YOU BET!!! ALWAYS HAS MADE ME CRAMP! I take advil at the 1st sign, then I take 1 every 4 hrs, a great help. Also I walk, seems even a little exercise helps. I also relax in a warm bath, and for some reason coffee or hot tea helps, as well as relaxing with your legs under a pillow while u lie down. Hope this helps u too!!!

Yes it can.Almost everyone gets cramps bcause of ovulation.

Yup, that cramping is normally a pinching kind of cramp and is higher up and off to the side, compared to menstral cramps which are lower and centered.

yes, ovulation often feels like pregnancy symptoms. Cramping, tender breasts, etc.

yes it can be more painful than period pains. sometimes i can hardly walk because its so painful. i found it got worse as i got older.
