Next time the goverment talk about yet another tax rise, what would happen if every person was to strike for just one day? The money they would lose in that single day would be massive- you recon this would make them change thier minds?
Its gotta be worth a try!

Good Idea. The problem is that the people of this country moan and moan about things but wont get off their butts to do anything about it. It worked to an extent when the taxes on petrol were going up - when people wouldnt let the fuel tankers deliver. The poeple of this country need to let the government know that we are sick of being treated like rubbish - everybody needs to unite to do something!!!!

I think that is an absolutely brilliant idea.

Problem is, getting everybody to do it.

This government of ours has got away with murder. They have introduced over 30 stealth taxes since they came into power.

What have the population done about it? Nothing, we all moan and groan, but do nothing.

The only people who have made a stand are the few pensioners who refused to pay more than inflation on their council tax.

What happened to them? They were thrown into jail
Now there is a caring Government for you.

They are now pushing "green taxes" down our throats, just another way of "stealing our money"

As our carbon omissions are just 3% of the global total, even if we cut them to "nil" it wouldn"t make a scrap of difference globally.

Gordon has to find a lot more revenue, especially with this ruling on tobacco and alcohol, due soon from the EEC, so there are going to be "plenty more" tax hikes in the future.

Lets all get together and tell them to piss off.

The last time there was a massive strike against the government over taxation, that segment of the population became the United States of America.

Are you sure you want to go through that again?

Why now not? The 'monetary equipment' is a functionality of inner maximum organisation. Why would we would want to take wealth OUT of the monetary equipment? reducing taxes is often a reliable thought, the selection is giving it to authorities it particularly is in debt over 9trillion funds.
