I am a male of 47 years old, slim and no smoker and no drink alcohol, however I do have cholesterol and high blood pressure. I am taking LIPITOR 20mg tablets but I noticed it makes me fart which is quite embarrassing. The fact that I am eating more salad to lessen the cholesterol may also contribute to my winds but certainly the farting got worse since taking the Lipitor. Is there any home remedy to help cholesterol in the body? Thanks very much

I have the same problems, well, except for being slim...LOL! Some friends of mine suggested I try Red Yeast Rice. It's a natural supplement and they're telling me it doesn't have side effects. I haven't tried it yet, but there are 3 of them and they swear by it. Below is an informational link I found about it. Best wishes!

The best & safest way to lower cholesterol is to go to GNC& get a what is called Multi Enzyme Formula.Take 2 or 3 each time you eat and 3 before you go to bed.Enzymes are already in your body but the foods that we eat there is not enough. They soak up any fats that are in the foods we eat.The 3 you take before bed will go in to your blood stream and eat everything that is not supposed to be there. My cholesterol was 245 and in 2 months of doing this it went down to 170.My triglycerides drooped 100 points. My blood pressure dropped to normal. My doctor asked me what the big secret was and I told him.He said he was going to start recommending this to his patients.Believe me it works.

Hi,
As i have read eating garlic can reduce both high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Try eating garlic on daily basis. You can eat the garlic well chopped combining with olive oil and fresh lemon juice. This you can eat almost with every meal. I know garlic makes bad breath, so after meal it is good to drink fresh mint tea.
Good luck

Cayenne Pepper, Cinnamon, Garlic.....most people should just add more of these herbs to their diet. But, since you are having to take meds, I would suggest getting them in capsule form as you will get more that way.
