I'm 2 mths along with my first (still waiting for my first scan to confirm) and not had the morning sickness that i hear from expecting mothers. However i have sore breasts from the day of conception till a wk or so ago, pain down my side for the last mth or so. If it weren't for a fact that i know instinctly that I was pregnant you couldn't guess that i was.
Like you i'm also very worried that there's something wrong with the baby as I don't feel 'feel' pregnant and with the pain and thrush infection i'm very scared i might lose the baby. I've got an extra home test left and keep getting tempted to use it just to make sure i'm not making it up - have just confirm with the doc 2 wks ago that i am definately pregnant though, but still worried that they or my original test might have got it wrong or something has happen between then and now.
Keep telling yourself everyday everythings fine (that's what i'm doing everyday even though i'm very worried) and everything should be fine. You're lucky than me in a way that your scan's soon so you can find out for sure, i'll still got a while to go.
Good luck with your pregnancy and bless you and your baby.

I was in the exact same position. I had been sick for a week at the beginning, felt uncomfortable for a while, then I felt nothing. That was at 11 and a half weeks. I had an ultra sound and even told my husband, don't be surprised if the baby isn't there anymore. But there he/she was. It was so great! I was amazed at how developed the baby was already! I am now 12 weeks 6 days. Maybe it was seeing the baby, but I feel pregnant again for sure! It is so easy to doubt, but unless there are other signs or lots of blood, a gush of fluid, or something of that sort, your little baby is probably just fine! Congratulations! My due date is 25 May, close to yours?

You sound like you are doing just fine, and it is natural to worry those first few weeks of pregnancy, talk to your Dr. about your fears, keep all your appts. And try to enjoy This wonder of motherhood that you are going through. There are wonderful books out of pregnancy, from start to birth, these will help you to understand what is happening to your body. I didn't 'feel' my baby kicking until my 4th to 5th month. As for morning sickness some women never experience it, some just for a short period of time and some almost throughout their pregnancy. Your not being silly, just a concerned mom to be and I wish you and your baby the very best, and a healthy, happy life.

I didn't feel pregnant until I heard the heartbeat and then really pregnant when I seen the ultrasound!! It didn't seem real to me because I didn't look prego at 3 months, I did my usually things I would do everyday and my fiance only let me buy the necessities at first! When i heard the heartbeat my eyes lit up and I knew that there was a baby inside me growing and that she would come out for me to take care of her and love her!!! I remember at every visit I couldn't wait to hear her little heart and I am very very re-assured that she was still there healthy and happy :) Congrats and good luck!!

What you are going through is totally normal. You are entering the 'blooming' bit where you are going to feel totally normal. Until you cant fit in your jeans, which should be pretty late if its your first or until you feel the little munchkin kick 18-20 weeks its all just a bit surreal until then. Your 20 week scan will help. Lots of luck and be cool and enjoy xx

the nausea and vomiting ususally only lasts during the first trimester which ends at 13 weeks. some women of course stay sick the whole time but the first 13 weeks you are the sickest. if for some reason you don't feel pregnant you need to go to the doctor now. you are the best indicator of how things are going, don't feel embarrased or scared if you go in and things are alright. it is always best to error on the side of caution. go now.

Dear Friend,
Don't worry about not feeling pregnant. I'm a mother of four and I didn't start feeling pregnant until I was into my fifth month, (that is 20 weeks). What you need to do is relax and cast out all those negative thoughts. I don't know who you are but I declare blessing over your pregnancy. Rest assure that I will be praying for you.

Other then having morning sickness I didn't "feel" pregnant at all. Once the sickness went away I was nervous too. There's no rule that says you have to feel a certain way while pregnant. It's hard not to worry but I'm sure everything is fine

You'll be fine Sarah, the middle trimester is the best part of being pregnant,no sickness,no tiredness, and too early for the heaviness and back ache that comes later.
You should be feeling fantastic now for the next 3 months.
Good luck and congratulations x
