Oh i so agree, There are some films where the bad guy wins. Horror films normally. They seem to win as they kill people and things. Its all a trick of cinamatography the film makers want the audience to back the bad guy as it forces us to make moral judgments during the film. Then at the end if they are caught or the bad guy loses deep down we all think, oh good as we really know that what the baddy is doing was wrong. Good old right versus wrong

Ah man that sucks that her video is on utube. Well it sounds to me that your brother is not shallow and has connected with a girl that he really likes. I have never been one to go after the popular guys because they are often phony and superficial. Perhaps your brother is tired of dating stuck up groupies and appreciates how real and down to earth his new girl is. Being a jock and popular does NOT make anyone better than anybody. This girl may have some amazing qualities to her personality that you won't see until you stop judging her. They hygeine issue, however is a tad troubling. Im sure she may appreciate your acceptance and giving her a makeover if that is what she wants.

Yes I agree with you ..I sometimes root 4 the bad guys in the movies it just depends on the situation though ...the only person I will not root 4 is if they are a pedophile or a rapist then no . Like in GoodFellas I didn't want none of them get caught ..Reservoir Dogs they ended up gettin killed ...

Both good and bad guys are necessary for a good story, and usually the good one is the one who wins.
The one I want to win, depends with whom I am identified with! The good or the bad one!
Sometimes the bad ones are the heroes in a story!
For example, I saw a movie (can`t remember the name) with 3 black women who made robberies and stole money and when they tried to escape from the police they got killed, almost all of them. In this movie I hated the cops very much and adored the fight of the bandits!
So, it depends!

Works for me....personaly I am tired of having stroies where the good guys win simply becasue they are the "good" guys. Villains that can't hit a target at point blank range...martial arts masters beaten by novices...all becasue the "good" guys are supposed to win...gimme a break...

Sometimes I do, yes. But it all depends on the villain himself. For example, Vincent from Collateral. I really wanted him to make it through the night and finish his "jobs." He didn't necessarily need to kill Max, but he could've at least escaped.

No I never cheer for the bad guys. However, I do tend to like the flawed good guys better than the goody two shoes.
