Depends on where you live - if your winters are mild and your summers are hot - then cooling would be more expensive. If you live in Minnesota - then your heating costs will be more.

I can't speak for anyone else, but my electrical bill is at least 2 times higher in the summer than the winter. I keep my heat on 74 degree and my air on 76. I do not know if it is because more people use more electricity in the summer than the winter, therefore, it is higher in the summer or what.

depends what you use to heat and cool your home. Gas is cheaper the electricity for heating and quick. For summer i think evaporative if goo effective and cheap because it only uses as much energy as a light globe - generally while reverse cycle can use a multitude more energy. i would say summer because you can always put on a jacket its easier to get warm than to stay cool

probably to heat your house.i know it is for me anyway i live in a old house and it isn't insulated good and it seems my electric bill is higher in the winter.
