No actual relation. Indira Gandhi was married for some years to a Parsi gentleman called Feroze Gandhi. On the other hand, her father, Jawaharlal Nehru, was an intimate associate of Gandhiji for decades, and Indira therefore knew him from childhood. The Nehru family could be called the adopted blood relations of the Mahatma, who more or less designated Nehru as independent India's political leader. Needless to say, the name Gandhi is a political asset in India.
