I'm visiting my friend's house for dinner. I've met their two kids (4-5 times), but can't remember their names. They do remember my kids' names and I feel bad about asking again. The dinner includes some other people that we don't know, too.

Before leaving, ask your children what their names are.

Okay then I guess your only other options is to come clean. I would call up the friend and admit that I forgot her children names and then apologize. That way when I get to their house, I would already know their names.

If youre kids have met them ask them, that would be the easiest, if not ask them how they spell their kids names, cause your bringing over a wee treat for them, ask them this on the phone, and then you will know.

All you need to do then is buy a cheap box of sweets or a toy and write their name on the bag and there you are.

JUST DONT FORGET IT AGAIN YOU WILL LEAVE YOURSELF SKINT

They are probably young but hopefully not too young say if you stash some lollies in your pocket then say to them "If you can spell your names right then you can have a sweety" They will either get it right or close and you will know so give it to them anyway.

call round unexpectdy and say that you were thinking of putting ur kids in something like karate and you were about to take the forms round and though it be nice if there kids went to and hand her a form, take it back and say that you will hand it in, and "waa laa" there names. then mind to say something like that they were full and not accepting

No reason to feel bad if you forgot there names, just tell them the truth. This is what they will respect, your honesty.
