The child within you will remain for a whole lifetime, perhaps
it is the better part of you, so let it go free and you will live a
better life. To suppress the child within you only ruins your
character. Obviously, as grown ups we behave as such and
don‘t do foolish things like crawling around the floor. The child
in you normally is safely tucked away in the back your mind,
but will influence you in some ways that you will not notice.

Most of the men I know still have lots of toys. My husband has a play station 2 but thinks that the world would be such a better place if he had an xbox. My friend's partners all regard their toys in a similar fashion.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with grown men having toys (as long as the toy doesn't take up every minute of their day). I think how anyone wants to spend their spare time is entirely up to them, lots of women like to use their spare time to shop or be pampered so why can't men use their time to play with their toys.

Yes, I have no toys, and that includes video games. The closest thing I have to a video game is Microsoft flight Sim. As a matter of fact the only reason I came to the games section of yahoo answers was to see what the video addicts were talking about after the stampedes for PS3.

A good example of what happens when you get addicted to such things is Hawk474, I don't think "Your only as old as you fill" is a typographical error and has any idea that what he was thinking is "You're only as old as you feel".

Sorry
I am not supposed to answer this but then what is equality if I am left out because I am female.

I agree with the comment about the child within we grow up then suddenly the child vanishes because it becomes childish, well let the child remain and if trains where something you enjoyed why not continue to enjoy them as an adult.

Word of caution know when to stop otherwise your wife, partner or girlfriend might just stop your enjoyment for you.

Bloody hell no! I've still got 14 Action Men, an enormous bag of plastic soldiers, a slightly smaller bag of cowboys and indians, a meccano set, a collection of toy buses and lorries, a scalextric and my train set these days is a virtual one on the laptop. But then I'm only 38....

Can't believe no one has spotted that this is a quote from Rudyard Kipling's poem "If". I'm not a fan of the poem, in fact I think it's pretty rubbish but anyway, to answer your question I don't play with stuff from my childhood any more because I've got so many musical instruments to "play" with. Music is a major connection with my childhood as I grew up listening to music live and recorded and have always loved it.
