Angles are measured in degrees, minutes and seconds. So, one-half of a degree is 30 minutes.

360 degrees = 1 revolution
60 minutes = 1 degree
60 seconds = 1 minute

Half a degree is 30 minutes although it is apparently not used much these days. Degrees are then further divided into seconds. Sound familiar? If you type in'degrees' to your yahoo search you will get the info.

Alternatively, it is close to what I got because of too much partying!!!!!!!
