an anal landlord, at least he/she will get the job done if something breaks in the house.

I've had both - the anal landlord will blame you for everything that goes wrong within 1000 feet of the building, and will stand outside your apartment with a stopwatch to time how long you shower so he can complain you're using too much hot water. I vote for the slumlord because I can do whatever I want to improve the situation, as long as I don't expect a financial return.

I would definately prefer to have an anal landlord.A useless slumlord wouldnt benefit you at all.At least the anal landlord wouldnt be lazy and would get the job done.Have a good day hun.

Anal landlord! That way you are at least getting the benefits of renting-not having to do the maintenance etc.

anal landlord, but I have one right now and it isn't fun, but I have several friends who have useless slumlords and it is worse.

Useless slumlord. Because at least I would be able to live my life without any interruptions. Also I think my husband would be able to fix anything that goes wrong.
