i never wore a cup when i played football...but depending on what position you're playing it might be a smart idea...for instance people try to hit running backs in the nuts all the time

I dont. When i played linemen, i wore a cup just incase. I never got hit there. But when i moved to Linebacker i stoped wearing one so i could be more moblie. If your going to BE TACKLED you should wear one. Espcially Running backs
