Well, if you don't spell things correctly, eventually they become unintelligible, disabling us to respond and give opinions on whatever it may be, and over time it gets worse and worse until we can no longer communicate effectively and are regressed to cave-men-like grunts. That in itself is a REAL issue.
Bad spelling is forgivable to a certain extent, but some users here are already doomed to never be able to communicate again! You'll see one. They're right here on Yahoo. They're the missing link.

You know that horrendous misspellings distract from the most cogent argument. Do use the Check Spelling at your fingertips and, I'm sure that your responses will be more focused on the issues.
