I don't know about that. If he does odd jobs then yes, but I don't think most window cleaners would. But its always worth an ask.
As for payment, I think £10 is rather stingy, but I guess it depends on how big your lawn is. If its just a 10 minute job then £10 is ok, but if its a longer job I think you need to be prepared for him to ask a lot more. Our window cleaner charges £70 to do windows, inside and out but I'm in London, might be less elsewhere.

Erm - thats a bit like asking your car mechanic to rewire your house just because he has some tools. Dont be silly - a window cleaner cleans windows and might clean out guttering because he's up the ladder anyway. You wouldnt ask your gardener to go home and get a ladder to clean your windows would you ? So why expect a window cleaner to carry a lawn mower !! If I were a window cleaner and you asked I would be insulted. xx

I would ask him to wash my dirty underwear and when hes finished that nice small task I'd get him to wash my feet as im sure theyd be pretty dirty also.
If your gonna ask him to mow the lawn, then Im pretty sure hed be just a common or garden handyman - but what the heck, if he needs the money hes gonna do it. £10 should be fine but I think he should have to eat the cuttings. He could then wash my car as long as he wasnt sick on it!! I'd be pretty quick to kick him off his ladder and stuff that sponge up his nose!!

Depends what you window advertises. My dad does guttering work, sofits and fascia boards. Often he repairs a tile that's fallen. I think if my dad likes his customer then he probably would cut the lawn.

I love your question. I can't answer it regarding window cleaners as I don't have one.
However, my milkman does lots of odd jobs for me. He'll do anything. Never leave him alone with the wife though..!!!
As for firemen, well, that's another story.

I think it would be proper first to ask him if he does other jobs besides window cleaning- if he asks why, then perhaps you could tell him you have several others jobs you want doing and see how he replies.

If he does odd jobs besides window washing he will probably be happy to get the extra work.
