Mr. Mukesh Ambani, Mr. Anand Mahindra, Mr. Uday Kotak & Mr. Anil Ambani have purchased thousands of acres of agricultural land in Alibaug. They have decided to incorporate Indian agriculture by legalising the small, marginal, medium & large scale farmers and make them legal employees of their corporate brand. If agricultural farming, production, distribution etc come under the registered legal net, then there will be a boom in Indian agriculture which will yield much higher dividends than even what the I.T boom yielded in India.

very difficult question. Dont look at 10 years span for agriculture. Agri products being perishable in nature look at not more than 1 year as season fluctuation can never be predicted for 10 year.
But you may check ICAR site for trends and historical data. Also Agri retial will be a big thing in India in coming year, if you are interested then catch any of those upcoming retail store guys in your city and they should be able to help serious people.

There is growing demand of organic food in the world market and while 80% of organic foods are bought in G-7 countries, they have only 12% farmland for organic farming.
We can have an advantage in organic farming and the future is bright. The retail revolution will also help the agriculturists.
