I wish i could do more for the environment but it's hard. It costs more, is less convenient and is generally harder than living as i do know. What would make it easier for you?

I try to be environmentally friendly, but what makes it a bit hard is that it costs more and that it's almost impossible nowadays to buy anything without a whole bunch of waste coming with it. Products are wrapped up unnecessarily much and have been brought from far because that's cheaper than making them locally etc. and I don't have much choice but to buy them anyway.
Also seeing that so few people bother doing anything makes me wonder if what I'm doing has any point while most others keep on wasting and polluting as they wish without caring. I wish more people were environmentally friendly and conscious.
