I am looking to purchase another firearm this time a Jericho 941 also known as the baby desert eagle 9mm... I am also looking to get a CPL to carry it... I was wondering tho... how much merit would a persons lies have if they were to say i pulled it on them and I had not... cuz they noticed the form of my shoulder holster.? please any help is appreciated... it is important for me to carry tho I just dont ever want to be in a situation where someones lies could land me in jail... i have never been arrested or accused of any crimes... just a normal upstanding citizen with some enemies that may kill me... thanks again.

let me add the reason i must carry is a life threatening reason... I want to carry at the shoulder cuz for me is the fastest draw and fire. anything else would be slower and by the time i get it out and safety off from behind my back... it takes longer than the 1.5 secs... and well... get the idea?

That's a pretty big gun to carry concealed.

I've had a conceal carry permit for years and can say that it is normal to be somewhat paranoid about this type of thing when you first start carrying. This goes away eventually as you become more comfortable with the concept. As for someone accidentally seeing your weapon or lying about it, it's a trade off.
The security you get is well worth the risk. Just look at it this way. If you carry it could save yours or someone else's life and if someone creates a problem for you it's only a small inconvenience considering the alternative. Another piece of advice, don't brag to your friends about carrying. There's almost always someone in the crowd who doesn't feel as we do and will try to make your life as uncomfortable as they can. So just keep it to yourself.
I saw a quote somewhere that summed it up pretty well:
"Freedom is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well armed sheep contesting the decision."

Any lies would be investigated ,but the burden of proof rests with the lier .
Filing a false report is a crime .
Why carry a noticeable cannon in a shoulder holster , pack it in the small of your back or high on the hip .
Find a carry which allows either hand access in case your shooting hand is not available and practice off hand draws.
Unload it first and double check that chamber .

You would do better to take up residence in Texas. Their cowboy approach to such matters - reaching for a weapon to settle matters, is more acceptable there than in Michigan.

Michigan is a heavily-regulated state. Authorities there want somebody to go to jail no matter the circumstances. It's almost a given that if weapons are involved in an incident SOMEBODY HAS TO GO TO JAIL. Also, certain areas of Michigan seem to contain concentrations of busybodies whose only concern in life is to point out the shortcomings of their neighbors - while ignoring their own. Texas is less anal..............

Lat me say this, if someone wants to frame you, all they would have to do is get a couple of people in cahoots with them and tell the same lie, and you are off to jail, and your CCW permit revoked until you can prove your innocense. The best thing to do if you are carrying a weapon is to make sure, the weapon is concealed in such a way to prevent someone from accidentally seeing it. I am a CCW holder, and this is what I recommend.

I have had a Arkansas CCW for the perfect 5 years and no individual has ever suggested some thing like that. except you're screwing with them, the accepted individual on the line isn't even gonna note you're carrying, except you're fairly undesirable on the concealing area, LOL.

Don't worry about "if's" in life that in all likelihood won't happen, number 1, and number 2, "concealed" means concealed. Can't you make it less conspicuous? And number 3, if you're a decent, clean looking person, people will probably think you're a cop.

Ask a conceal handgun instructor that question, dont listen to any of these people here, as they (including myself) have no credibility
