first, this world isn't all bad. the FDA doesn't even regulate herbals, so how can they suppress them? they should regulate them though since there are many non-reputable herbal companies that put out inneffective products, or their product has such variable potency you don't even know what you are getting. there are good companies out there though. i think some herbals are good, some are bad. always be aware of drug interactions though, a popular herbal St. Johns wort is used commonly for depression, but it renders some medications useless (like statins for cholesterol like lipitor and zocor) and it can block the metabolism of other medications, so your body gets more than it needs. always talk with a doctor and pharmacist before you start anything. and any substance that you put into your body that is not there to begin with is called a "drug". In other words, just because it is herbal doesn't mean it is good for you.

I think herbal remedies are a very natural way to beat certain ailments such as nausea. I am on birth control and sometimes I get very nauseous, ask my husband, and I have some remedies that work most of the time. I always go for the herbal stuff before I go to a doctor. I am finding it more relaxing and less stressful depending on my knowledge of herbs to make me and my loved ones healthy. I don't trust doctors and I will only go to them if I can't beat whatever is causing my ailment.

To me this field is where medicine should be heading, The problem is that you need to find a good alternative medicine doctor to prescribe the combinations of the various herbs that you take. Just like over the counter medicines and prescription medicines some drug interactions can be bad for you. Some, when taken together, render one or both of the remedies ineffective, i. e. iron and Vitamin E. But this is a fantastic field! We need to all rally together to fight for legislation against the FDA and FTC who hold back and silence any new discoveries in this field because it will interfere with the profits earned by the drug companies treatments for the corresponding illness. THEY NEVER LOOK FOR CURES, JUST MORE AND MORE TREATMENTS THAT CAUSE MORE AND MORE DISEASES. An interesting website, and there are many, is The People's Pharmacy. Lot's of very simple, around, the house items, that can be used to treat and cure medical problems. Another book that I read recently is Natural Cures by Kevin Trudeau. Mr. Trudeau can be rather strange in some areas according to my thinking, but he has some very valid points and ideas for maintaining your optimum health level. One tip is just to go down to the bookstore and buy the book, don't order it "free" from him, as in my opinion, his marketing techniques are brutal and might wind up costing you a pretty penny if you bite. As with anything, be cautious, and if you continue to hear of an idea over and over again through many sources, then check it out. God Bless You as you begin your journey to good health!

I use them for everything.
I don't understand why there's so much hate in this category... almost any time anyone posts that they've had success with herbal remedies, they're innundated with thumbs-downs.
Isn't there logic in the statement that we're very dependent on our planet to sustain life? Without the sun, the air, and the water, we'd die. To an extent, these things can be synthesized, but they can't ever entirely be substituted.
So, why is it so illogical to think that the very planet that sustains our every breath just might be able to offer us healing in the form of its botanicals? To me, it makes perfect sense.
While prescription medicine certainly has its place in our society (even I'll admit that herbal remedies are useless for sudden, acute conditions like a heart attack, or life-threatening injuries sustained from an auto accident or gunshot wound), I don't believe that it's necessary to use synthetic drugs for every little scrape, cough or sniffle.
In my experience, herbal remedies have won out every time, acting faster and with less side effects than any prescription I've ever been on. I'll stick with them until they fail me, in which case I'll be happy to admit that I was wrong. But until that happens... give me herbal supplements any day.

I am HIV+ and I use a tea made out of 12 plants from a biodiversity center in China. It is very powerfull to fight against any viral infection and great to boost the immune system without absolutely no side effects whatsoever.
This will allow me to delay taking antiretroviral drugs for a long time and avoid their terrible side effects.
It's not my perception, but my experience.
And that's also My Best Answer!

i think of the only way rather think of approximately it relatively is no longer attempting to locate the barriers to human beings procuring the product is greater attempting to replace the packaging and make it look greater cutting-edge and likewise getting the product in and out undeniable view next to something of the different products. do no longer ferret it away in the part of the save next to something of the organic products maximum persons do no longer pass there! placed it suitable on the shelf next to the commonplace products with some form of massive purple famous individual on it or something. to no longer point out that i'm no longer particularily loopy appropriate to the flavour of ginger, hops and clay in my toothepaste. What precisely does organic recommend besides? what's the marketplace conventional definition of natual at the instant? Is it relatively ALL organic or do you in effortless terms choose a undeniable proportion of aspects to be organic to stamp that for the duration of your label? variety of like how entire wheat bread in effortless terms has to contain a small % of entire grains to have the potential to label it "entire wheat" and hike up the cost. once I study Tom's aspects i'm only as perplexed as once I study Crest or Colgates. in my view Poloxamer 335 and 407 does not have the hoop of an "all natual" ingredient. in the top i'd desire a stable reason to no longer use the different greater classic manufacturers earlier i'd evaluate switching.

All natural medicines are called 'homeopathic.' And there are people that study this field and are as good if not better than medical doctors. I use homeopathic medicines from a very qualified person. They kept me from having my gallbladder removed!
