None of the people you mentioned are colonizers of Asia. Alexander left little or no heritage, Genghis was an asian (like saying Napolean was a colonizer of Europe) and MacArthur was only a general.

This is not to be confused with whether they were imperialists!

Colonizers of Asia were the Portuguese, Dutch, French and English, who in that order, came to Asia, flourished and then declined in the face of other powers.

England was displaced by The United States which practices "Coca-Cola Colonialism" in Asia.

Douglas MacArthur did not "colonize" Asia. He was an Army general. Wars in Asia in which the US participated were fought by US military, which included Navy, Air Force, Marines, sometimes Coast Guard, sometimes Merchant Marines.

He has a famous name but did not do anything by himself. He followed instructions from the US presidents, until he got fired by President Truman.

MacArthur Left, Don't let the great Japanese Economy fool you The USA set up some great steel plants and left the Japanese to take care of themselves. We even made sure the Russians did not have a chance to claim anything.
