I don't know but I think mother nature just hates me. At 9AM she sees me leaving the house with freshly washed and straightened hair, and she makes sure that by the time I get to work I look like a poodle. WHY OH WHY?
Edit- To everyone having a go at her... If she drove the kids to school, why would she care so much if it were raining?!

It gives the school mums the chance to show off their good driving skills in there 4x4's,they only know one direction thats forward, would not know where reverse gear was and you ony live at the bottom of the road from the school

IT doesn't. For instance it was teeming with rain here at 0400 but stopped at 7pm. It can and does rain at any time. Your use of the word always makes it a dumb question really.

I always thought it was waiting for me to take my dogs out before it rained. Now I know it's probably your fault!

I thought it always rained about 09.30 and 16.00 for me to get wet to and from work. If it's wet at 09.00 and 15.00 too I will have trouble staying dry ...

It's our punishment for procreating! And I have no choice but to walk in it as I don't drive.

here's a radical idea.......stay home and let your little horrors get to school on their own, like generations of kids before them - there's this thing called walking, it involves them putting one foot in front of the other.....
