I need something to plug my electric guitar and my mic into. Can not spend over $250. Any suggestions, do i use a regular guitar amp? beginer here...need help!

you'll need more than one amp if you want clean tone and sound from your vocals and guitar........i would concentrate on an amp for the guitar first......fender makes a great amp for the money....and stay away from crate and ampeg.....bad electronics.........but since your a beginner i would go to a pawn shop and play around till i found something that sounds clean and has great levels.......then you can haggle the price and take home a great amp for $250......you may even get a half stack if you can talk good enough.....lol.......more people quite playing guitar so fast that pawn shops overflow with some great equipment.......well i hope you find what you need.........hit me up if you got any questions and i will help you as much as a bassist can .....lol.......keep music as your salvation...peace

You may need 2 separate amps as a mic could ruin the guitar amp, ask the music store folk.

oh. get a cheap, 15 watt amp off ebay. i did. it works better than the one i bought first.
