I have only 1 true best friend.
Not taking the word "friend" lightly, I can count the number of friends I have on one hand. I have many acquaintances, but if I can't trust 'em, they ain't a friend to me. I'm told by a few people that I am THEIR best friend, which is a high compliment.
Regarding "just putting up with" some people, I have perfected the art of simply... walking away.

i have 2-3 best friends.... my sister, my boyfriend (we were best friends first) and my best girl from high school.
it's hard because my one friends away at school.
but there are about 7-8 people that i just put up with..... i've come to find that i'm a very picky person when it comes to friends. so for some reason or another i just cant stand the others.

I have only about 3 true best friends, including my husband. I have other friends but they're friends not just people I put up with. I put up with my in-laws and brother...lol.

I see in every person as my true best friend every time I get to know for the first time. In the course of time, when things don't turn out, I'll put up with.
People have their own perceptions. Therefore, their reactions are different from individual to individual. The point is, we can't change others' views, but the view points of ours.

true best friends 2 my husband and a girl that is like my sister 20 years of friendship.
put up with more than i can count since i have grown up and moved on and it seams they are all stuck in the bar with my past!

i have one true best friend. all the others were "fair-weather friends." the kind who only call on you when they need something. i made a promise to myself years ago, that i would not allow anymore negative ppl in my life, and i've stuck to it. life is way too short to put up with things we don't have to.

1 true bestfriend. I dont just put up with people. I deal with them on an associate level.
