I should imagine you mean the late "great" Benny Hill. Commencing on Radio, Benny hit paydirt with the Benny HIll Show on British TV running through the 1970's. FInally axed in the 1980's as he was considered sexist and dated. Still, apparently very popular in the USA. The famous song? Yakkety Sax, a 1961 single by the saxophonist Boots Randolph. A guitar version was release in the 1970's renamed Yakety Axe

If you type in 'the benny hill show' to your yahoo search you will find a whole load of stuff. If you are talking about where he plays the randy old git who gets chased by a whole load of chicks! The music is a slightly vulgar but actually very amusing saxophone number. He also sung a song called Ernie which made it into the charts quite successfully, I believe and also a song called the Harvest of Love which was not quite so successful and actually, the first one was not a bad song and gave us all a bit of a laugh. He was a really cheeky chap with a bit of gutso, which I like.

Do you mean "The Benny Hill Show"? That was one of my favorites! I'd always hoped to meet the man one day... but sadly, he has passed on. His show revolved around various sketches that would make fun of tv shows like Charlie's Angels and Kojak... along with original material.
Don't know the name of the song other than "the theme from Benny Hill".
