That depends. Mothers who are really there, who are involved and have good relationships with their kids usually do know what's best for them. Then there are mothers who are there but not really involved, and they have an idea of what's best, but they don't really KNOW. Then there are the mothers who are never there, who think they know what's best for their kids, but they don't even know their kids, so they have no clue.

I THINK THAT ITS TRUE MOST OF THE TIME.Our job as a parent is to keep our kids safe happy and healthy. We have been through a lot of the same situations that our kids face.I do allow my kids to make some of there own choice's and mistakes.I am always there to help guide them when this happens.Sometimes life lessons are the best way they can learn. Its hard as a mother to see your children get hurt or in trouble when you know that is whats going to happen. As a mother when I am wrong I do apologize.

Well, to start off with yes, but when the child is able to express their own feelings I believe you should listen to the child and correct wrong ideas. You should encourage good behavior and they're wish to do something that might some day be their life's ambition. My son is very interested in being a animal conservationist. I encourage that because it's a rewarding aspiration. He's 8 years old now.

Yes, it is true. They have already experienced life..They see the world as it is...not through a teenagers eyes, who think they already know everything. Parents only want to see their child grow up healthy, strong and with a good sense of morals. In the world the way it is today...it is so easy for a child to make the wrong decision.

mothers know a lot more than their children, but in my opinion, they don't always know best. I have children and I allow my kids to make their own mistakes and learn from those mistakes. If i don't let them make their own mistakes, they'll never learn and always look to mom for the answers.

I think it depends on the kind of mother she is,but you have to realize something if she takes good care of you,and always wants to know were you are at all time. or want let you do a lot of things with your friends.if she cares at all times its because she loves you. You probably need to listen to her, because she was young once and she knows best
