Yes...and that might not be the only thing that's sore. During pregnancy, your body releases hormones that cause the cartilage in all of your joints to soften...especially your hips, so it will be easier for your pelvis to open and stretch to deliver a baby. Besides that pain, I also endured sciatica...the baby pressing on the sciatic nerve...which caused my hips to go numb, itch, tingle, and ache throughout almost the whole pregnancy. It's perfectly normal and natural...and i hate to say it, but it will only get worse.

Absolutely. My hips and pelvis cracked with both my pregnancies, alternating with grinding, which was real fun. You may get pretty sore in the pelvic area as your body prepares for delivery. Another unpleasant and painful surprise on this rollercoaster journey. Remember, it will all be worth it in the end.
Aloha to you and yours....

Your joints become more limber, so anything with a little flex (hips, knees, back, etc.) will become achy at one point or another. This is all in preparation for childbirth. Pineapple juice actually helps joint care. Drink some of it, or eat fresh pineapple.

You're about 3 months along and you body is getting ready for childbirth which is very normal. You're hip joints are slowly getting wider and that's whats causing the pain.
