Really annoying series of adverts. There was a sequel advert where he meets up with his mate who is also a feckless, thriftless, football obsessed ****, and he puts him on to 'Picture' to sort his finances out. The mate's kids are always trying to kill him by leaving skateboards and wheeled toys around on the stairs so he falls and breaks his neck, and they can claim on his life-insurance so they don't get sold off into white slavery.
The latest advert features 'Tess' who is a geordie housewife constantly interrupted on the phone by her noxious family while trying to arrange a £25 grand loan.
The football bloke (Chris) isn't featured anymore because he defaulted on his loan, now lives in a tent, and his children have been sold-off into child prostitutuion in India. His wife is a drug-addled prostitute who sleeps under a railway arch, and does hand-jobs for the price of a fix, or a rock of crack.
Thankfully Tess, and Chris's mate will all be going the same way soon owing to their defaults on the loans, and 'Mike from Picture' booting them out into the streets one day before Christmas so he can sell their house from under them. Tess will wander round in a daze still shouting 'Josh, daaad's foond yaa scoooootah' loudly before being arrested for shoplifting, and banged-up in prison to share a cell with a violent psychopathic dyke called Russbert.

I hate those ads too, especially the Picture ones. If I was on the phone to that woman while she was shouting and speaking to her husband and kids I would have told her to call me back later when she was less busy and put the phone down. So rude! (Yes I know it's only TV, but it's annoying!;)) I used to sell loans for a well known building society, and I'd never get one myself. On top of the extortionate amount of interest they charge, they rarely give out loans without making you take up their insurance too, which is also costly, and doesn't cover you as well as you might think it does. They are a big con really, and I have seen a lot of people get into huge problems because of credit.

That advert annoys me so much, I don't see the relevance of him messing about with a football and his wife filming him, but thinking about it maybe in a year or so when they go belly up for taking on debt they could ill afford she will show him the video evidence to prove to him it was his fault they got into debt as he made the phone call, crazy advert.

Incredibly annoying!
At least the company is being honest in their advertising - they'll give the money to any halfwit, without a care as to how it'll be paid back...
I think that's why so many people get scuppered financially - they're borrowing without thinking WAY beyond their means, without changing their lifestyle to suit the budget, then they end up paying for groceries over a 20 year loan!
This idiot is a prime example!

I hate that advert! who would chat to a loan person about the weather and football? NO ONE! In the tiny writing on the screen the amount you pay back for the loan is huge!

Big time irritating - and what about when him and his neighbour are off to football and he has the cheek to make his friend talk to Picture - the man is an arsehole - but not as much of an arsehole as the boy in the Frosties ad who sings 'Its gonna taste Great' !!!!!!!!! xx

The aim of the advertising industry is to get their ads noticed.
they can do this several ways, by being funny, interesting, using a new concept ............or by being annoying.
You all remember it is for picture loans
this ad has clearly done it's job
.
