I recently got the sack due to down sizing and my employer said that he would mail my redundancy to me. I told him to Feck off that I wanted a cheque there and then because I didnt mail my services to him for 6 years. Employers will always do what they want. The only way to see if someone is good at their job is to see them doing it, an interview only confirms verbally that the candidate has the regulated qualifications. Anyone can fake an interview with the right prepping. But guarenteed your boss will go his/her own way.

What is a personal int? Interview?

I think that is a grand idea, if the employer has that kind of time.

None. I wouldn't hire anyone without a personal interview.
