I'm all for donating and regularly do. But how come it costs £2 per month to save the life of a child, and £3 per month for a dog?
Surely a dog can't be more expensive to save than a human.

It costs more for vets fees and the child can be treated for free. Mad I know but true.

As far as the dog is concerned, you are absolutely right. Remember that once your donation leaves your hand, you have no control of how it will be used, or spent. It is your good intentions that matter, not what others do with the donated money, or goods.

Because people will not help the dogs for free, they want a fee.

However a child will be treated by volunteers, they just need the funds to get them there.

It's crazy.

Kaorin makes a good point.

Also, where are the kids and dogs? If you're talking about kids in other countries, £2 will go a lot further! Whereas the dogs might be in the UK, so you're paying UK prices for everything.
