No, you need to drink A LOT of water. All the way through your pregnancy and more if you plan on breast feeding. Go get a big glass of water now and drink up and come back and finish reading. Go to the store and buy a one liter water bottle. Drink two of those a day. You'll pee a lot, but you will feel a whole lot better.

Get the book What to Expect When Expecting. It is a good book and will help you a lot with any questions. You will feel bloated but i was never so bloated that i was uncomfortable. Hope you start to feel better, if you don't just call and ask the doctor if you should be worried. Best wish to you and you little one.

Oh man! I'm 6 weeks right now and I feel like I could just roll around the room like the blueberry girl from Willy Wonka!
It's totally normal! No book has made me feel better. It's just something we have to get used to. I was telling my hubby yesterday that I'm pissed i can't suck in my stomach! Haha! I'm not supposed to be showing this early, yet I can't suck in my tummy like usual...grrr!!!
If it is extremely uncomfy for you, ask your doc on your next visit if there is anything you can take. My doc told me to drink something warm in the morning, which will push the gas through my body. So have a cup of tea, some coffee (but limited...remember not too much caffine), or some hot chocolate. It has helped me!!

You may want to buy a book that educated you on the many changes that will be happening to you now that you are pregnant and the changes differ from woman to woman.
A good book to get which I loved and my cousins loved also is called " What to expect when your expecting" its a pregnancy guide helping you to identify some warnings, symptoms of changes going on in you -- and things to be alarmed about as well.
I am sure Bloating is part of the package -- and your only 6 weeks so be ready to pack on some baby pounds -- enjoy this time its a blessing --http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=blended%26field-keywords=what%20expect%20when%20you%20are%20expecting%26results-process=default%26dispatch=search/ref=pd_sl_ov_tops-1_blended_24809164_1&results-process=default?tag2=over-std-20

some people do,
what will help is to take your prenatal pills with food
try to avoid food with acid (bloating sometime have something to do with the acid in your stomach)
Good luck & congrats
