There should be a voice recording program called voice recorder. If you can't find it choose my computer on the desktop and choose C. Then choose windows and system32. After that find the program called sndrec32 and drag it to the desktop. Run this program and record your sound to there and save it to your DESKTOP to find it easily. Then select it with the right button your mouse and select send to and select sonic record now. Then insert an empty CD and select burn. If you dont have sonic record now send them to the DVD RAM Drive F. Hope i helped.

Get a good quality PC mic. Plug it in. Adjust your volume and sound settings accordingly. Use some software to do a bit editing if necessary. Your computer will most likely have built in basic software but even some programme like goldwave is alright. Save it and open a burning programme like nero or whatever you use. Select audio burning. The programme should convert the raw wav file to the audio file. Thats a basic overview for you, or how i would do it.

A good burning software I recommend is Ashampoo Burning. It's 100% free and can be downloaded here: http://j.mp/1sW2tKy

If you want to create a DVD that works on a common DVD player, you definitely need a burning software. Copying the files of the movie as is won't work (If you do so your DVD player will not be able to play the video/movie properly). Ashampoo is a good option for every "burning need". It's reliable and professional, It can be used both for CDs and DVDs and it's very easy to use.

You should be able to.

Start > programmes > accessories > entertainment > sound recorder

is the path to the sound recorder.

You need a microphone to do this.

It may be slightly different in XP - I am using ME.

Then save it to a CD using CD burning software.
