A special, personal gift does not have to be expensive and it will be well appreciated. Before setting out to do your holiday shopping this year, take the time to think about what people's interests are and the kind of lifestyle they lead. Then put this information together on a list before you hit the stores.
Always consider the lifestyle of your recipient. Ask yourself: what are their hobbies and interests? For example, a very busy person might like the gift of relaxation. For music lovers, think about music accessories. You can stir people's imaginations with travel related gifts to bring the world a little closer to them.

As far as I am concerned, I like that my spouse give me some utility item, I dont believe in perfumes and flowers. For the one interested in writing a pen can be a good gift.

Guys are difficult because we can get what we want before complaining or suggesting we want it. Best Idea is beware of what he is into, sports, teams, games, D&D. A gift can mean alot if you show support for a guys interests.
Hats always work for me.

How about a swiss army knife? That is if he doesn't have one yet. If he does, I think swiss army knives are collection-worthy. There are different types of cool swiss armies today and comes in different prices too depending on its features. I'm sure he'll like it!

Buy a journal and fill it wth cut outs and pix timelining your relationship. Add one-liners about your feelings then glue a ribbon to the outside to tie it closed...this take great thought and enterprise....and it can be as personal as you want!
