first of all, try asking the person your going with casually on what types of food he likes. find out if he has any allerges and the such... but if it's a first dinner then maybe you don't need to go anywhere too classy unless youve known eachother for a long time. just have fun and go to a simple yet decent restaurant. good luck!

Guys most generally love spaghetti. Or get some nice steaks with sauteed onions and mushrooms and baked or mashed potatoes.Have either one with some salad and Italian bread. Let him bring the wine.

I invited this guy over for a roast dinner....cooked him a roast lamb with baked potatoes, pumkin, carrots and gravy. Followed by apple pie and ice cream, we had a yummy bubbly wine and we chatted for hours....that man is now my husband and we have 4 children.

Good first dinner since you got married? Well ask him what he prefers, what are his favorite entrees.

It should be a calm place and not that expensive. And you should be in an atmosphere to talk on important things.
