I don't know about when the first came out, but when I think Reebok Classics I remember a man I used to work with. He only wore them and nothing else. When they started to go off the shelves he bought as many as he could find. He had a closet of them, and he wore them out pretty fast too. I wonder if he still has any and if not what is he wearing now? Funny what a shoe can make you think of lol.

Scallies, the original and proper name for the allegedly "recent" Chav phenomonon, Scallies had Reebok Classic trainers for PE, Kickers shoes for school, and owned a Berghaus or a Helly Hansen jacket even though they did no rambling or mountain climbing. They also thought full sportswear, and several cheap looking gold necklaces, rings and earrings was a good style combo.

Some pretty comfy trainers! I'm a bit of a sneaker snob, and I only had a pair of these out of necessity, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good there were. And they're the ultimate "pub shoe", too!

Fook off, I still buy and wear Reebok classics and I'm a chartered accountant.
I like them because they're a 'proper' trainer. I refuse to wear the neon coloured celebrity endorsed sh!te they're selling to all the kids now.

they're the chosen shoes of "chavs" or so they're labelled. this is to do with their gown experience and language i've got faith. back interior the day we used to have Grungers, trendies and Mods etc. for my area i do unlike them yet this is only a remember of style. i do no longer probable like running shoes that a lot. If I had to choose for i could say ok. Swiss could be my selection.

The original chavy footwear!
the most horrible shoes i can imagine.
but, as above, they where chavy before the stereotype had really got off the ground!
