There just aren't that many red heads in the world so the odds are against seeing one in the modeling world. I have never had a redheaded boss after almost 40 jobs. I've never had a redheaded teacher, dr., boyfriend and only 3 classmates that were redheads.
How's it feel to be special? Yeah, I think red hair is beautiful. I'm a blond and would love to sport red hair, it just won't go with my other colors though, (ex: skin tone and such).
You will be the one that stands out during auditions and we'd love you see on the runway.
Look at that chick on Desp. Housewives, Nicole K had red didn't she? Carol Burnett -RED, ok I know you're all waiting for it, Bozo the Clown, Santa in his younger years and the most famous and my favorite of all LUCILLE BALL - God rest her sole !

the term supermodel is a term used to refer toa group of models who paved the way for other models and created change in the fashion world. Such people like Twiggy, Tyra Banks and Cindi Crawford come to mind. The early and late 1990's were great times for models. One red headed supermodel (Angie Everhart) made it big on the fashion scene. Soon after the 1990's she moved into acting in movies like The Last Action Hero (1993, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Jade (1995, with David Caruso). Some more famous red heads Lily Cole 90's model, Karen Elson (model), Lauren Ambrose(model/actor), Gillian Anderson (actor), Angelica Bridges(model/Actor), Teri Byrne (actor)

Where being red headed isn't something that happens a lot. Red hair is a recessive gene. I would say go for it what do you have to lose. Who knows maybe some place will pick you over the others because you don't look like the rest.

I'm not sure but it may be the excessive freckels some red-heads get. In modeling moles or freckels are a problem. The skin should be close to perfect. If you don't have these problems then why not? You should at least try because you will regret not trying all your life.

I've never seen any redheaded models but you should go out and be CONFIDENT in yourself and try it for once and then maybe more will come around!...just remember to be CONFIDENT!
