Depends on the situation... if he just suddenly out of nowhere said he'd been abducted by a flying saucer then no I wouldn't believe it. But if there is some solid evidence then sure I'd believe him.

I'd go with it as they are a friend, however I may not necessarily believe it unless they had solid proof. And you don't have to say you do or don't believe it. If he/she asks if you believe them, I'd answer them like: Well, I can't disprove it. It's difficult for me to believe there's not anything else in the entire universe as far as life-form besides us. So, I suppose it could be possible.
This way, you're not saying you believe your friend, but you're giving your friend the benefit of the doubt.
I'd just ask questions like: Are you serious? How did it all happen? That would be an amazing experience. What were you thinking when you got abducted? How long did it last?
This way, you'd be coming across as interested but you may just be shrugging it off in your mind. I wouldn't be too freaked-out with it all (assuming it's not true) unless it was a continuous imaginary story-telling on a regular basis.

That would depend on whether the peson was someone that I would have believed in the first place. There are some people tha if they tole me that I would now nly know that they were full of it...I would even know what IT is. On the other hand...there are those that I would know, if they tole me such a thing that it MUST have happened...

I would have to know the circumstances. Also if this person was like some alien lover and always read about them. How stable the person is etc.
Never doubt something you dont know already.

If he loves aliens , loves to scare people and usually makes up stories, then no. If he has some good evidence or is trustworthy, then yes. In all other cases, I will send him to an asylum.
