The USA is boring in general. Over the last 20 years or so everything that is fun has been declared illegal or socially marginalized. It's like the country's undergone a "funectomy" - the fun has been removed from society while the society itself, that is, the productive, tax-paying part, has been left in tact. Instead, we all live vicariously through our entertainment heroes while we march through the drudgery of our boring little lives being constantly reminded not to smoke, drink, have sex, or enjoy ourselves in any way whatsoever, as it is "bad."

A really boring place to live in the USA is Los Banos, California. The most excitement there is in a town nearby that holds the annual garlic festival. Otherwise, the largest department store there is the local Wal-Mart. It is becoming a fairly large city - 32,280 people right now (up 50% since 1991). It has one high school and just recently added a theater.
If you live there and want to get away, you can go to Yosemite National Park, only 2 miles away. Otherwise, the theater and Wal-Mart are the "happening" places there.
My sister lives there. We talk a lot on the phone but its a 1.5 drive from where I live with 60 minutes going through Pacheco Pass (the mountains and mostly two lane highway). Yeah, lovely place - look at the name of the city...

I'm in the UK and I went to visit a friend in Hiawatha in Kansas which is miles from anywhere. To me it was pretty boring, but that is not really fair to the people who live there and probably really like the place....if they ever came to visit me, they may think the same about where I live!

Yeah, Kenosha is pretty boring once the auto manufacturer closed down all those plants.
Racine isn't much better. All that's left is Johnson Wax and a few smaller shops. When the businesses go, so does the rest of it.

pass back to China. communicate with a pair people who have not have been given any threat of something different than working in rice fields. we've a wider form of music than you do in China. We even have Niagra Falls, the Grand Canyon, Colorado, Lookout Mountain, Dallas (no different city is like it, in spite of your feeble opinion), greater issues to shop for in any mall, Yellowstone national Park, the Grand Ol' Opry, the Smithsonian, and greater lifestyle than you ever theory approximately. pass back to China. you may leave now.

Jackson Michigan but it grew on me. It was like this decent sized town surrounded by nothing! You would have to drive an hour to run into another decent sized town.
