Yes, it is impossible. If you take a peek through history you find some interesting things regarding what corruption actually is. What was once classed as corruption in the past, is now regarded as normal practice. Legislation is altered by governments to accomodate corruption. The power people change the rules to suit themselves. This has, and always will be the case, you therefore cannot eliminate all corruption.

This is said that satisfaction does not lead to progress ,It is only Greed that has made progress and this greed leads to corruption then why do you want to eradicate corruption. Even in RAMAYNA indian epic depicting Lord Rama Bribing Sugrrev by Killing Bali his elder brother and VIBHISHNA younger brother of RAVNA by declaring him King Of Lanka without winning over Ravna .So I would say corruption this much old.

I don't need eradication of corruption, as that is not possible. I want eradication of the pompous arrogant attitudes of politicians that they are above the law.
I want well defined rules and accountability.

Corruption is like a incurable disease spread among people. It is very difficult to eradicate. If the younger generation realise the problem and jump into the action by way of revolution, then only it is possible.

You can eradicate the ability to do it, but you can't eliminate people's desire to corrupt.

Last century people may not be believing it will be possible to talk to some one who is thousands of miles away, or see sitting at your home, some thing happening in another corner of teh world. If such wonders are possible why not this. What is required is will of the people. They may awaken oneday and revolt. Then may be it is possible. Not an easy task though.

I think it is possibe to get it to a very minimum, but we would have to be strict with those involved in corruption (death is a good penalty for corruption)
But there will always be one or two who will still do it.
Just like there are drug dealers.
