no real restrictions except in wimbledon where players must wear white. general ATP rules, for example have restrictions only on sponsor logo size/location. remember, grand slams are NOT ATP/WTA events and can make their own rules, such as one in wimbledon. an excerpt from ATP rulebook:
Every player shall dress and present himself for play in a professional manner. Clean and customarily acceptable tennis attire as approved by the ATP shall be worn. A player who violates this section may be ordered by the Chair Umpire or Supervisor to change his attire or equipment immediately. Failure of a player to comply with such order may result in an immediate default.

I think that is inappropriate, but i think the players can afford to not wear what they like for one tournament. Honestly i really dont care what players wear other than for a minute. BUT FEDERERS SHOES ARE NICE first of all all his clothers are gold and white, his shoes have a wierd looking F at the back and 4 circles of the Swiss flag for each of his titles. I don't know about dress code, but I've always loved the way women at wimbledon produce new balls from up their skirts.

As I said, ladies must wear knickers or it would be love all. Of course if a lady was playing with two men it could be Deuce!! with a possible tie break.
