What makes you....?

There are a few things that make me smile.

But honestly, if I see people happy, it makes me smile. I hate the thought that people are unhappy, no matter what is going on in their lives. I guess you could say I have a heart of gold, it makes me smile to know that people are happy.

It also makes me happy to see people in love. To know that love really exists, makes me smile to know that people feel it. See it every day they wake up, and know through the day they are still in love. Not wanting to go to sleep because they just want to see the other person.

Older people make me smile. I love the elderly, their stories, their lives, their smiles. The fact that adults, teenagers, and children don't compare to them at all. They have lived their lives to the fullest and they just want someone to talk to. The fear that nobody is going to be around anymore in their eyes kills me. But, to see that look in their eyes when you're talking to them, playing games with them, laughing with them. Puts a smile on my face that I just can't explain.

And babies make me smile. I love babies, but I am just not made to be a mother. The look in their eyes, that innocent look. When they don't have teeth and they just show that toothless smile, sends chills up my back. As I've said, I have done goofy stuff just to see my nephew smile. Because seeing him smile, and be happy, makes me the happest person on Earth.

Oh, and seeing my family and friends happy makes me smile. That really doesn't need an explianation because "most" love to see their family and friends happy. But with me it's deeper. I love my family and friends with all my heart and soul, and to know they are happy just fullfulls my day. The smile that forms across my face can't be explained. It's a true smile that not many see anymore. But to be honest, I do wish I could see that smile more often.

My guy! He just has this way of calming me when I am stressed.
He knows just what to say or do. When my sister died he didn't just say the normal stuff people say to comfort you,he just said things to put me at ease and take me away a minute from all of the chaos. If you see my guy you would smile too cause he is so gorgeous but he is also gorgeous on the inside as well.

Seeing this question actually did make me smile. normally light moments sharing with family and friends make me smile all the time unknowingly. this is the real smile i guess.

My pets, family and friends. Especially my dog Willow.. She's always making weird noises and does tricks and stuff, Which always makes me smile.... And seeing a happy animal. :)
