That is a very interesting point of view. Yes, I think that could be possible.

Yes life sometimes sounds like an illusion and this illusion in the matter of fact is an illusion; otherwise life is very much true and one should be very pragmatic about it. This is natural that everything has a beginning and an end too, weather this is a dream, meal, life, journey etc.

I don't necessarily live that way - but yes... there are moments in life when you get a wake-up call.... and that this is when you need to deal with the facts of life, take control and deal with the situation(s) at hand. Things become extremely clear - far clearer than a dream - that is for sure.
People living in denial (dream state) only hope to wake up, but they do not even try to hope - they just wait and hope someone shakes them hard.

sometimes i come across myself to think- is this real?i start to think about it and think i could be in a dream!but then to quote descartes"i think therefore i am", by the very means of thinking about this, i must be awake. the material world could all be unreal, all of our senses could deny our existence but our thinking is always there!if we were placed in a place without people and are isolated from birth, we might still ask ourselves who made us?why are we here?these thoughts cannot be inserted-it is evidence we exist.
dreams seem very real but they are a byproduct of the brain's chemicals when we go to sleep, it is obvious that humans need sleep, and dreams are a aby-product of this. so yes, every dream has an awakening.

yes it is. like shankarachrya's philosophy suggests.
the world is maya (illusion) individual souls at made of real self n maya. we have to get rid of maya to reach our ultimate goal (liberation/salvation).
When we get rid of maya, the physical world ceases to exist, so ultimately the physical world is a dream-an illusion.

Extraordinary subject. I started putting some thought to it, believe it or not, when the Matrix came out. My conclusion was... What difference does it make? Really?
