I have looked on Ebay - No Luck. I need somebody who refurbishes laptop batteries at a reasonable price

You could try RECELL, they do rebuild lots of different types.

It depends on the battery, but older Toshiba batteries had re-chargeable AA batteries inside the main unit. I know of a few people who replaced the batteries and it worked fine.

You can better have a look at ebay.com or any other similar sites. I got my Sony vaio battery from ebay. :)

buy a knockoff...its cheaper.
