They are saying that they didn't have enough notice. gave them 5 days including weekend. They are saying weekends don't count. but the removal men work on sat and sun.. can anyone help..

They are asking far too much.. over 60% of the value. Please can anyone tell me what to do.. can they take me to court or anything.. they are even charging me for packing they never even did.. and building wardrobes that they never took down ..

If you haven't paid em tell em to go and jump. Check with the Citizens Advice Bureau. If you have a contract with the removal company look for the cancellation terms.

If you havent paid them then there isnt alot they can do. Unfortunately, when giving notice for anything the weekends are not counted - when it states 5 working days it means Monday to Friday only and excluding bank holidays. Just because the men work doesnt mean that full office staff are working. Good luck xx

Did they give you a written contract? it should say in it how much notice you have to give
