It could be that your parent's room is warmer and there is less ventilation. This causes your airway to get dry. Try opening a window a bit or get a humidifier in the room or simply sleep in your room in future.

you prob sleep with your mouth open, there may be some allergens in your parents room...honey, sleep in your own bed, you're old enough and it's time to grow up...ps dehydration is a math problem, too much out, too little in.....thirst is a sign to hydrate, a dry throat is not the same thing

Listen girl, everytime u go sleep in parents bed, dring a galss of water and bring a nice big bowl of hot watter to teh room. (u can put couple of drops of soem nice sence , egz: vanila, chocolat, etc) and put it in teh room an hour before u fall asleep.

teh reason why it happenes may be that ur rooms are in different sides so urs gets more of wet air, or they're keeping a lot of hairy furniture , or carpets.

stay well!

Maybe you gather air too much on you're throat.
