Im 3rd year archi student. Evrytime our teacher give us some plate, damn i always submit late. I draft slow. Is their anyone w/ drafting or architectural background to give m some hints, tips, strategies to improve drafting speed? I know speed is not the question, its quality right?
Hell I dont care what the **** is quality is. I need speed, for submission times only up to 1 1/2 weeks and a plate of as big as a city hospital complete with floorplans, elevs, sects., concepts, and perspectives, Its a great gift to have speed.

I'm not an architech, but I use to have an old program called 3D Home Architech on my laptop back in '96. It had everything needed to create blueprint diagrams. You make your walls, place doors & windows, locate your electrical switches & outlets, and place furniture, appliances, and bathroom fixtures. After you create your 2D image you could go into a very crude 3D tour of your building.

I saw a more recent version (released in 2000 maybe) that probaly has more features and better graphics. A program like this might just help you speed up your blueprint making.
