Call your doctor or labor and delivery ward at the hospital. Chances are it's just your cervix is changing and getting ready for delivery. But I would definately call just to be sure.
The link below talks about the different stages of birth, it also discusses if you have 'show' which is the mucus plug with some blood. If it's more than just a little blood though, you should need to get it checked out. Sounds like it won't be long until your little one is here, good luck!

It will just be a couple days longer. My mom was spottng the morning I was born and by lunch time she was in the delivery room!! So stay off your feet and walk around, but not too much! Have your partner pack for a trip to the hospital and call your doctor when you wake up tomarrow morning, and ask to come in for a check up. He might tell you to go straight to the hospital. If you start getting any cramps at all go to the hospital!! GOOD LUCK!

YES!! DO NOT DELAY AND CALL YOUR DOCTOR!!!

My son was born almost 6 weeks early. Despite contractions and confirmed labor, I was sent home with "Albutirol" to stop the contractions..less than 10 hours later my water broke and we had to do everything possible to delay the labor. Do NOT let some doctor/nurse tell you that this is "normal". Demand answers - it is your right as a parent and a patient!

You might be losing your mucous plug which happens when the cervix dilates in labour, it can happen without labour pains as it is something that usually happens in the beginning stages of labour. But saying that it could also be something else. See your obsterician and get examined. Better to be safe than sorry.

could be a show or a water infection or do you have thrush?

your midwife would advise you to go and see her with any amount of bleeding, no matter what the cause turns out to be. Let us know how you get on xxx

Maybe your mucous plug broke. I would go to the doctor (at least call) immediately!
